'Android' is open source future for Mobiles

Accroding to Wikipedia definition, An android
is a robot made to resemble a human, usually both in appearance and behavior. The word derives from the Greek andr-, " meaning "man, male", and the suffix -eides, used to mean "of the species; alike" (from eidos "species").

Here 'Android' [http://www.openhandsetalliance.com/android_overview.html] is defined as an open source mobile operating system delivering single platform to stack the basic kernel, the middleware and the key applications, thus bringing service based development environment to the mobile phones. Devlopment on Anroid is like thinking your mobile phone as a robot. You have the hardware, you have the objective, Android is the bridge. The entire Android SDK is open source and highly scalable providing endless points to write basic to highly advanced services running over mobile platform.
